SyllabusSync ("we", "our", or "the app") is a tool that reads a photo of your course syllabus and automatically adds deadlines to your Google Calendar. This policy explains what data we access, how we use it, and what we never do with it.
calendar.events scope to create new calendar events on your behalf. We do not read, modify, or delete any existing events.We use the data you provide solely to perform the service you requested:
We do not use your data for advertising, analytics profiling, machine-learning training, or any purpose beyond the above.
SyllabusSync has no database. No syllabus images, no event lists, and no personal information are stored after your session ends. Your OAuth token cookie expires within one hour. Once you close the app or the token expires, no record of your session remains on our infrastructure.
SyllabusSync's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We access Google user data only to provide the core functionality described in Section 2. We do not transfer this data to third parties, use it for advertising, or allow humans to read it except as necessary to provide the service or as required by law.
SyllabusSync is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
We may update this policy as the app evolves. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance.
